Wood Wood is my first love. For me, to talk about the wood is the same as writing a love story. During the years I have realized that I always had a particular feeling for wood. Recently I discovered that my great-grandfather was a woodcarver and this has closened me to it even more. I remember when I was a child (5 – 6 y.o.) I had a natural attraction for wood, a material which is alive, warm, and I often went to visit a neighbour who wood-carved and built chairs and I tried to help him. This passion re-exploded at the age of 22 when I decided to undertake a wood-carving course and I have never left it since. |
