Stone, the passion exists but unfortunately practice is difficult in my area although the want to experiment and work never leaves me. At the beginning of the 80’s my need to know more, pushed me to look for someone who could teach me something about stone and marble. Living in a region where marble is not used much, it was difficult to find someone who could help me. So, after asking in many labs where stone was worked, fate made me meet a wonderful person, Pietro Lorenzoni. Born in Pietrasanta (real Mecca for marble workers), he moved to Turin where he worked for many famous artists and teached “Marble Technology” at the Accademia di Belle Arti and choose to live in this grey City. I started to follow his courses and, between a lesson and a chat on everyday life, thanks to this nice person, I became a real marble passionate.
