SNOW I have been living in the mountains for many years now and of course in the mountains it snows. So my relationship with this cold and slippery element started. Working snow, as my passion, for sculpture, started at the beginning of the 80’s where my father and I received the invitation to take part in a sculpture contest which was held in Cortina d’Ampezzo. (My father and I always work snow together). This started our snow passion. Why work snow and work hard to create something that sometimes only lasts a few hours? Many people ask me this question. The answer is: Passion and of course the glamour water and consequently, snow create; it’s like a children’s game, you create all sorts of forms following your thoughts and then see them turn to water only minutes after. . |
